I don't think print is going out of style, but along with my background in print, this has provided me with a stronger design foundation for my web work. I've been keeping myself busy for the past 5 years with a little bit of everything, but that's the fun of it.
Along with the challenge of tackling new mediums, the learning has kept me constantly engaged, and motivated to keep learning.
